the veins aren't so much hard as they are time consuming. if you are just after element. I would suggest getting 2 element dust gachas. I don't do veins anymore. but mantis are fun to take around, my 94melee mantis with max armor saddle and ascendant sword can chop down a gigas 80k hp in about 40seconds.
